Troy, Michigan– Mason-McBride proudly announces that Mike McBride, CEO of Mason-McBride, has been selected for induction into the Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame. This prestigious honor recognizes contributions to leadership, service, and innovation in advancing the insurance industry.
McBride has advocated for the independent agency system for 35 years, serving at both state and national levels. His leadership roles include being the past president of Big I Michigan and the current chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. These organizations provide crucial resources, advocacy, and support to uphold business and customer service excellence.
McBride’s commitment extends to leading and serving on committees both within and outside the industry and on the Ferris State University Insurance Program Advisory Board.
McBride will be formally inducted at a ceremony on October 17, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan. This induction is particularly significant as his father, Wayne McBride, received the same honor in 2005, highlighting the McBride family’s multi-generational commitment to advocating for independent insurance agents.
